The most resilient building block. Can be used for Capital Vessels and Bases.

Costs around 55 in CPU load for each block of the structure. Xeno Steel in alien structures is even stronger, up to 3500 HP depending on the shape, and radioactive, emitting 9 R (can be even higher with other sources of radioactivity around - including other Xeno Steel blocks!), making raiding infested POIs an additional challenge.

Unlike common Steel Blocks L, Xeno Steel cannot be upgraded into or downgraded from. It must be crafted "as is". It also has a separate from common steel set of textures.

Trivia[]

Xeno steel is more resilient and light than Combat Steel Blocks L, making it a perfect armor. Player-crafted Xeno steel blocks are not radioactive and, as such, safe for use.

However, Xeno Substrate used in the recipe cannot be mined and can only be obtained by looting, salvaging or trading it from NPCs. Xeno steel inflicts an even heavier hit at structure's CPU limit. Its texture set is very limited compared to common steel blocks.
