Lava in Empyrion: Galactic Survival can be found in Lava and Lava2 biomes and generally makes planets with such biomes very dangerous.

Properties[ | ]

Alert Lava Burning

Burning in Lava alert

Lava, like Water, currently does not flow and acts as a block without a hitbox.

The alert "You are burning. Get out of the Lava" is shown if a player enters lava and the player will rapidly lose health. Player visibility is obscured while in lava and the HUD turns bright yellow. Powered vessels are not damaged from lava, and will automatically float. However, if power is lost, the vessel will be destroyed.

Particle effects can be seen if a vessel flies or hovers close to the lava.

Game Code[ | ]

The amount of Lava (depth of the lava lakes) can be changed via editing the playfield.ymal file.

  • Attribute : Biome
  • Value: lava(deep lakes),lava2(shallow lakes)
