The Laser Rifle ammo is the Laser Rifle Cell. Though it out-ranges the Sniper Rifle, the Laser Rifle fires a fairly slow-moving projectile, making it challenging to hit faraway moving targets.
As it has a scope and does more damage than the Projectile Pistol (T2), the Laser Rifle is a viable replacement for the Projectile Pistol (T2).
