The Laser Pistol is a tier 3 Handheld Weapon in Empyrion. It uses Laser Pistol Cell]] as its ammo. It can only be obtained by crafting.
As it requires a Power Coil to craft, the Laser Pistol can't be crafted until mid- to late-game. Combined with the fact that it has a smaller magazine, shorter range, and does less damage per shot than the Laser Rifle, the Laser Pistol currently doesn't offer any advantages over the Laser Rifle. Its main advantage over the Projectile Pistol (Tier 2) is increased range.
