As it requires a [[Power Coil]] to craft, the '''Laser Pistol''' can't be crafted until mid- to late-game. Combined with the fact that it has a smaller magazine, shorter range, and does less damage per shot than the [[Laser Rifle]], the '''Laser Pistol''' currently doesn't offer any advantages over the [[Laser Rifle]]. Its main advantage over the [[Projectile Pistol (Tier 2)]] is increased range.
