Empyrion: Galactic Survival Wiki

Guide Info[]

This guide has been updated to include the new information for the default Survival Scenario, taking into account the 4 new start Moons that are avaialble as well as the Ashon II Orbit. Information in this guide is taken directly from the game itself and reflects what you will experience as you start your new game. Information valid as of 13th Jan 2024.

Starter Item Guide - Default Survival Scenario[]

Your start items depends on which planet you choose as your start location and the start equipment dificulty setting you choose in the custom options. as you set up your game settings before you start.

Location Specific Items[]

Each planet provides it own challenge. As a result, what you need for initial survival may vary and your default items may vary based on those challenges,

Akua[]

As this is intended to be the 'begineers' introduction, you get 3 tutorial items in your inventory which you can activate if you want to experience the tutorial for the following info : Using the Survival Tool, basic Base Building, making a Hover Vessel. You are under no direct threat of anything in the immediate area of your spawn point, so you have no other special items beyond the default starter equipment items specified below.

Ningues[]

This planet is rather cold and somewhat hostile from the moment you spawn in. You start out wearing Light Armour, which provide slightly better protection against the elements and a small amount of armour. This also provides an Oxygen Bar, starting at 375.

You may have to enter combat sooner than planned with this start. If you check the cargo container near to your spawn in point, you'll find a Pistol loaded with 16 rounds, and just incase you need them, a spare stack of 64 rounds for reload. Happy Hunting.

Skillon[]

You start out wearing Light Armour, which provide slightlys better protection against the elements and a small amount of armour. This also provides an Oxygen Bar, starting at 375. This is your initial lifeline ! As stated on the start selection screen, Skillon has no atmosphere, so this is key to survivng, at least in the early game. That said, you are given NO additional items beyond the default starter equipment items to aide your survival,

Masperon[]

Once you find your feet on the ground, you'll find a cooking pot with some Dino Stew and Spoiled Food, as well as a cargo container with a Flamethrower witrh 50 fuel loaded and 20 fuel spare for reloads in the immediate area of your start point.

Remember Rule #1 of game design - if they give you guns at the start of a game, they mean for you to use them - Stand Ready Survivor !

You will also have, depending on which start equipment setting you choose, a variable number of Antibiotic Pills, along with the default items listed below,

Default Items[]

No matter whihc start of difficulty setting you choose you will have access to the following items when you first spawn in :

  • Tent
  • Detector
  • Survival Tool (found on the ground beside you on Akua, in inventory on other 3 planets)
  • Flashlight (found on the ground beside you on Akua, in inventory on other 3 planets)
