Fuel Pack Hydrogen is the most resource-efficient but least energy-dense energy source in the Empyrion universe. Two Fuel Pack (Hydrogen) are crafted from one Hydrogen Bottle (which in turn is produced by an H2O2 Generator). A Fuel Pack Hydrogen has a fuel value of 15, half as much as the standard Fuel Pack Promethium.

From a resource-consumption standpoint, the Fuel Pack (Hydrogen) is currently the most efficient use of Promethium Ore. Using two Promethium Ore to craft four Fuel Packs yields a total fuel value of 120; using those four fuel packs to power the H2O2 Generator yields 25 Hydrogen Bottles, or 50 Fuel Pack (Hydrogen), with a total fuel value of 750 (375/Promethium Ore). In this way, one can extract 6.25 times more energy from one Promethium Ore than just by using the two Fuel Packs it can initially be crafted into.

Fuel Pack (Hydrogen) can be used to power ship and base generators, but cannot be used in terrain-placed resource generators like the Water Generator, O2 Generator, and H2O2 Generator. This behavior is intended.
