Player armor is a item that protects the player from harm or enables special functions, such as wearing Night Vision Goggles, providing oxygen in space/under water, & the ability to use a jetpack. Players typically start with Light Armor, which is also craftable. Medium Armor & Heavy Armor must be found in a Point of Interest. Armor cannot be taken off or modified without using an Armor Locker. To change armor, drag it from the locker to the armor slot to the left of the locker. Like weapons, armor loses durability with use and can be repaired at a Repair Station.
